OVERVIEW

When you are in Sapa and tight for time, this half day trip will give you a combination of both cultural experience and moderate physical exercise. Your trip will start in the morning at Sapa where you will meet with the tour guide. He will brief you in on what to expect and general guidelines. You will then trekking off the main road, onto mountainous soil covered with lush vegetation.

On this trekking path, you will discover the untouched beauty of the northern area of Vietnam. After passing through the pine forest, you will stop at the village of Suoi Ho where most of H’mong community resides. You will see the local tea garden and fruits grown by the locals. This is the perfect chance to interact with the locals. Inside the village, there is also a small school where the children go to. With the few hours interacting with the locals, you can learn one of their dances or see how they make traditional crafts.

Lunch is included in the trip and while eating, you can enjoy the amazing view of the rice paddy and breathtaking scenery. Suoi Ho village is located in one of the most beautiful and peaceful location in Sapa. This area has the best stepped rice paddy in the area. A private car or bus is ready at the village to transport you back to Sapa.

 

ITINERARY

Morning/Afternoon

The local guide will meet you at 9AM then you will take a short walk through pine forests and lush gardens before reaching the village of Suoi Ho which has major residents of Hmong community. After short time staying with local residents, you will continue walking through rice paddy fields and some other magnificent sceneries to Ma Tra area. Our vehicle is waiting for you there to take you back to Sapa.
